I would suspect others that have issue with this is because of same remember Trevor asking me about a error he got and this was because xp is missing the used C Runtime and your dll imported a function that does not exist in XP. Your d2se just rejected the load of the dll, and give error msg. I used visual studio 2012 to compile dreamland code before. What I did to fix this was simply move back my build to visual studio 2010 instead (and I suspect it's a lib that conflict with your code in newer compilers). It run fine with my standalone launcher or use plugy. I debugged the code, and found a few bugs on my side that affect winxp, but code never got to that point with d2se installed. The issue I run into (or more xaphan run into) was that his mod didn't work with windowsxp because he used my d2dreamland plugin. for this i replace the entire windows dll loader with own code that i try to get compatible with the one windows uses (still hitting my head on some things but i make progress) for example to load all dlls from inside mpq and to render ASLR useless so old mods will work again under all windows versions (no random reallocation). how did you try to use d2se to load your dll?Īt the moment im working on a complete D2SE rewrite that will have groundbreaking new functions too. Loads the dll as every other windows programm does too.
